All hosting accounts come with virus and spam protection for your incoming email and full control panel access. Below are our typical hosting accounts.
All our hosting accounts have online reporting of visitor and bandwidth statistics. These reports can also be emailed to you on a daily or monthly basis. Our control panel also has mail settings, domain renewal dates and other useful information related to your account.
Our servers are physically based in the UK, a couple of hops away from the London Internet Exchange. This gives sites much better response than cheaper providers who use servers based in the USA. Despite that, we can still boast impressive international performance.

Support for Programming and Databases
All our hosting packages feature scripting in either ASP or PHP and we will create MySQL Databases and System DSNs for a one off fee of £5.00 each.
Support for multiple sites
Our multi-site support is amongst the best in the industry, even without a reseller account. You can purchase as many virtual servers, ftp accounts, mailboxes and domain names as you like and then set up as many domain names or subdomains as you like and point them at whichever mailbox or web site that you like -even those not hosted by us.
If you are intending to resell our hosting service, or even if you simply want to organise your resources by product or department, you will be able to set up sub user accounts too.
Technical support
We will provide free technical support for your hosting via email at all times, in addition telephone support during your first 2 weeks is also free. You'll get 2 free telephone support calls per year. At all other times support calls cost £30/hour billed in 12 minute chunks.
Secure Sites
If you need to ensure that communication with your website is secure (for sensitive information such as credit card numbers) then we can install a security package on one of your websites. The security package includes a THAWTE SSL 123 cerificate, a dedicated fixed IP for your site and the correct reverse DNS setup for your site. Our security packs cost £100/year.
If you also want to ensure that visitors to your site can check who you are too, we can supply a fully authenticated THAWTE certificate based security pack instead for £200/year. The process of getting authenticated differs depending upon whether you are a company, a partnership or an individual but involves us sending your indentifying documents to THAWTE for their verification.
Our email virus scanning service is updated daily to guard against new viruses and worms as they emerge. As email is the most common method of infection it is well worth using this service to complement your desktop protection software. We currently detect more than 73,000 types of harmful software. The body of an email and all of its attachments (including archives such as Zip files) are scanned before the email is allowed through.
All incoming mail is checked against the respected Spamhaus blocklists which block messages from known spam organisations. In addition these extra levels of filtering are available:
- Custom whitelists and blacklists of addresses
- Content-based filtering
- Tagging or blocking of suspect messages
- Spamvertised URL checking
- Integration with custom contact databases.
Mail forwarders and POP3 boxes cost £5 each whether you choose to use our scanning services or not. Mailboxes have 50Mb of mail storage as standard. Additional storage for mail can be allocated at an additional cost.
Spam Policy
It is Wizzy Design's policy not to allow unsolicited bulk email to be sent via our systems. We also will not host websites that are 'spamvertised'. Any client who uses our systems to send spam, or advertises websites we host using spam, risks having their account closed without warning.
