Wizzy Design have teamed up with Message Labs, the experts in enterprise security, to offer best of breed filtering for your business email. The Message Labs solution filters your email before it reaches your network and removes spam, phishing attacks and viruses.
How does it work?
The system works by routing your incoming and outgoing mail streams through Message Labs' network. Effectively Message Labs act as an intelligent firewall contantly protecting your company against threats from the Internet, and the embarrassment of inadvertantly sending spam or viruses from your network to your clients.
The settings are simple for your email provider to set up. If Wizzy Design already controls your email facility, or if you transfer your email facility to us, we'll be able to set this all up for you.
How much does it cost?
The service is priced acccording to how many domains you have configured, and how many users you have, irrespective of how many alias you have. For most companies this means that you just count the number of staff that use email, and look up the price in the table below.
If you spend just 15 minutes each day deleting spam, and even if your costs are just £10 per hour, over a year the cost of spam to you is £650.

Q) Do I have to filter all my mail boxes to use this service?
A) Yes, the service is based upon diverting all your mail for a single domain through Message Labs' network. The annual price is based upon the number of users of mail at that domain.
Q) How good is the system at stopping Spam?
A) Message Labs promise that 99% of all spam will be captured (drops to 95% for emails containing Asian characters).
Q) What about false positives?
A) Message Labs promise a better than 0.0001% false positive rate.
Q) What about Viruses?
A) Message Labs promise 100% protection against known and unknown viruses.
Q) What if my network is infected by a virus that came through Message Labs, or if I still receive excessive Spam or false positives?
A) Message Labs puts their money where their mouth is, and if the statistics back up your claim, they will add credit to your account.
Q) Is my contract with Wizzy Design or with Message Labs?
A) The Message labs service is based upon a client taking on a minimum of ten email boxes. Any orders from companies with five or more email users will be signed up directly with Message Labs as this is the most cost effective route for such companies.
Companies with fewer email users (one to four) will be signed up with Wizzy Design. As companies grow and take on more users, it is our aim to transfer these accounts over to Message Labs so that clients can access pricing without our admin charge.
Q) What if I want to filter mail for more than one domain? Do I have to pay the set up charge for each domain?
A) Unfortunately, Yes. However once the domain is set up on Message Labs system, you don't have to pay additional set up fees to add new users in the future. The current cost of setting up a domain is £80+VAT.

False positive - Spam filtering is generally an automated process, and in general even first class artificial intelligence sometimes makes mistakes. A false positive is where such a system blocks an email that was actually a legitimate business email. With Message Labs solution, you will be able to inform them that a false positive has occured as soon as you realise, and they can make it less likely to occur in the future. False positive rates are currently guaranteed to be less than 1 in one million!
Message Labs - Message Labs has for a long time now been specialists in email system security. They are now part of Symantec, the international vendor of security products to businesses and home users alike. Put quite simply, Message Labs/Symantec are one of the biggest players in security.
Phishing - An illegal attempt to trick users into giving up their passwords for important services such as their online banking account details, Paypal login, or auction site or shopping site login.
