Fixing DI-API Connection Errors

If you are having problems getting your software to connect to Business One's DI-API, try these steps:

  • Check the server name, DB type, usernames and passwords used to connect.
  • Check the computer name in this server file: ‘Program Files\SAP Business One ServerTools\Conf\b1-local-machine.xml‘
  • Try changing the computer name from LOCALHOST to the actual name.
  • Restart the 'TAO NT Naming' service.
  • Restart the SAP license service.
  • Clear out the %temp% folder.
  • Clear out the '%UserProfile%\AppData\Local\SAP\SAP Business One\Log\DIAPI folder'.
  • Check Internet Explorer LAN proxy option.

Finally, if none of those work, reinstall DI-API from the B1 network share.
